Process of implementation
Following the success at Semirenkivske, our team was commissioned to design and construct a similar compressor facility at the Olefirovska UKPG. This involved front-end engineering design (FEED), equipment selection, and on-site construction. We installed heavy-duty compressor trains, connected them to existing pipelines, and deployed advanced automation to regulate gas flow and pressure. Our commissioning phase included detailed operational testing, ensuring each compressor met optimal performance metrics and complied with industry standards (ISO, API, etc.).
Overcoming challenges
Maintaining continuous gas production while integrating new systems was the primary hurdle. We implemented phased shutdowns to avoid production losses, closely coordinating with field operators to minimize disruptions. Adverse weather conditions occasionally delayed construction, but with careful contingency planning and on-site resource management, the project was delivered on schedule. Today, the station handles increased throughput and stabilizes supply in line with market demands.
