Process of implementation

This high-capacity booster compressor station was developed to increase gas pressure and enhance extraction efficiency at the Semirenkivske UKPG. We began with conceptual design and site surveys to assess geotechnical conditions. Our engineering team then created detailed 3D models and P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) to finalize system specifications. Procurement included specialized compressor units, piping, electrical switchgear, and instrumentation. After mechanical erection and electrical cabling, we integrated SCADA and PLC platforms to ensure real-time monitoring. Rigorous testing and commissioning followed, including emergency shutdown simulations and reliability assessments.

Overcoming challenges

Working in an active gas field required strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols. Coordinating logistics in remote locations also posed a challenge, particularly for the delivery of large compressor components. By leveraging local partnerships and maintaining a robust quality management system, we overcame scheduling hurdles and met all safety standards. The station now operates 24/7 with minimal downtime, significantly boosting production rates.
